Dragon boating is a team sport, and so good communication around events and training is inportant. To assist with this, the club makes use of an easy-to-use mobile app called Stack Team App. It enables members to indicate which training sessions and other events they plan to participate in, and helps us organise the right number of boats, paddles, etc It also has a chat function where you can ask questions, leave messages, and so on.
To install Team App on your phone, follow these instructions
- Download the free Stack Team App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Create a free account. You will be sent an email to confirm your registration.
- Log into the App and search for “Sandy Point Dragons
- A request for membership will be generated and sent to the club administrator for approval.
- Once approved you will be able to use your phone to confirm your attendance at club events.
- Notifications: please allow “notifications”
Once Team App is set up on your phone you will be able to use it to register your intent to participate in training sessions. If you have registered but your availability changes you can simply go into Team App and change your choice.
