Where to Meet

Training is on rain, hail or shine. Training needs at least 6 paddlers and a sweep to proceed (on the Sandy Point side). Meet at the club house next to the boat ramp at the end of St Georges Crescent Sandy Point. Be on time, to assist in putting the boat(s) in the water. Training will be cancelled in the event of an electrical storm.

Pick ups on the Picnic Point side are available from Lambeth Reserve. On Saturdays, drive in the park gates and park in the car parking area. For training in the evenings, park on Henry Lawson Drive (gates close at sunset) and walk down the dirt track to the water’s edge. Don’t forget to bring a torch! Assemble on the sandy beach west of the stone wharf.

What to Bring

Drink Bottle, appropriate paddling clothes you don’t mind getting wet, and on sunny days, a hat, sun glasses and sunscreen. If you don’t have a paddle, there are always spare paddles in the boat.
